Sisters

SISTERS tells the story of two sisters who return home to visit their remaining two sisters, one who is terminally ill. While there, they reminisce about old times and spend one last time together, as a family, before the inevitable happens.

SISTERS was shot over a two-day period in 1992. It was shot in Black & White. Producer and Writer, Laura Turner, came to James and asked if he would direct the film with her. Initially, Laura wanted to try and shoot a musical but James persuaded her to go with the more dramatic film and afterwards, she thanked him for going with the drama. SISTERS was actually based on real-life events that happened to one of Laura's family's friends.
