L.C.A. FILMS is excited to announce that their movie, A CONVERSATION WITH MR. D, has been accepted into the 2010 Burbank International Film Festival. It will screen on Friday, Sept. 17th, between 9 - 11pm at the AMC Burbank 6 Movie Theatre. L.C.A. FILMS is so grateful for the chance to showcase their work in Burbank, California, the entertainment capital of the world.

L.C.A. FILMS is pleased to announce the casting of two actresses for its upcoming sequel, THE RECKONING. Jena Waldron has been cast in the role of Chris Richardson and Kattia Prado has been cast in the role of Marie Zirelli. The part of Chris Richardson was originally played by Samantha Thomson in the first film, A CONVERSATION WITH MR. D but Samantha moved to New York to pursue her acting career, shortly after MR. D wrapped. Marie Zirelli, the wife of Mafia Boss Vincent Zirelli, played by Vic Gazitano, is a new character that will continue into the third installment which will shoot next year.

L.C.A. FILMS is delighted to announce that Bill Flynn and Tony Palumbo have joined the cast of THE RECKONING. Bill will be playing the part of Raymond, a longtime friend and confidante of Mafia boss Vincent Zirelli, played by Vic Gazitano while Tony will be playing the part of Skip, one of Vincent's henchmen who has failed him on a recent mission. More casting news soon.

L.C.A. FILMS and actress Gidget Anthony, who had signed on to take over the role of Chris Richardson in L.C.A. FILMS' upcoming sequel, THE RECKONING, unfortunately parted ways today. Because of scheduling conflicts, both parties agreed to part amicably. The search for a new Chris Richardson will be underway shortly.

Vincent Scuro, who composed the music for A CONVERSATION WITH MR. D and who co-wrote MR. D's upcoming sequel, THE RECKONING, recently had his new book, RHINESTONELAND published as an e-book. Happy New Year! We are off to a great start so far. Filming on THE RECKONING will begin in February and last several months. Sadly, Samantha Thomson will not be reprising her role from A CONVERSATION WITH MR. D, she has moved to New York City and we wish her the very best with her future endeavors. Casting for her character is underway and some new additions to the cast of THE RECKONING, include Gidget Anthony, Marc Jeffreys and Keni LaTronico. Director James McDonald has worked with all three actors on previous films and is excited to bring in some new characters. Once filming has begun we will update the site with stills from the movie. Gidget Anthony has been cast as Chris Richardson in THE RECKONING, the sequel to our 2009 hit film, A CONVERSATION WITH MR. D. Gidget has worked with director James McDonald on his previous films NEMESIS and THE PHOTOGRAPH. Gidget was also cast as Kerri, the lead character in his 2007 feature DIVINE SOULS but had to back out because she was pregnant. THE RECKONING is currently filming and will premiere in early 2011.
